Containerised Water Treatment Plants
Tailored package plants addressing your specific water in-feed quality to a dignified drinking quality are flexible, scalable and robust, and can be quickly fabricated, delivered and installed to your site with plug-and-play functionality. These treatment plant solutions range from conventional filtration to membrane purification (UF & RO) and can be easily modified, expanded, upgraded and redeployed as and when treatment specifications shift.
Water TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES COVERING THE industry
Water treatment solutions covers several technologies namely:
(1) Strainers, (2) Cartridge & Bag Filtration, (3) Self-Cleaning Filtration, (4) Multi-media filtration, (5) Media Clarifier, (6) Micro-Filtration, (7) Ultra-filtration, (8) Reverso Osmosis (RO), (9) Chlorine Disinfection, (10) Chlorine Dioxide Disinfection (Powder & tablets), (11) Ozonation and Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection.
As project developers for large scale water treatment plants (above 2ML/day), we package the best-in-class technologies to deliver
Compliance with SANS Drinking Water Standards.
Some FACTS about CHLORINE DIOXIDE
- This disinfection method
offer enormous value with respect to safety, economicsand effectiveness. Itrequire small quantities of product torealiably disinfect large volumes of water (only 5kg treats 2,8 million liters of water). - Chlorine Dioxide is proven to be more effective against viruses, bacteria,
algea , fungi & protozoa – including the cysts and spores ofGardia and oocysts of Cryptosporidium. - With oxidation potentials 2,9 times that of
chlorine based products (Chlorine = 0,34 vs CLO2 = 1.14), itoffer fast, effective kill rates, bydetroying the cell membrane and the nucleus of the bacteria. - Chlorine Dioxide is NOT pH dependent, as is the case with
chlorine based products (sodium &calciumhypo products). It’s well known thatchlorine based productshydrolyse in water to form hypochlorous acid, but that at pH 7.5 the active hypochlorous available is around 50% (reduce as pH drops). With this knowledge, dosing is normally increased to compensate for this reduced activity. - With
sodiumhypochloride (at 12% concentration), you effectively pay for transport of 88% water. It alsodissipate rapidly andincrease the sodium content of the treated water. Transportation is safe and significantly reduced in the case of chlorine dioxide. - Chlorine Dioxide on the
orther hand adds “no sodium ions” and produce no dangerous byproducts (below detection) and dissolves in water to safe levels of 2000ppm. No free chlorine inproduct – SUPERIOR for cleaning membranes and resin applications.
